Spiced Orange Sparkler
Elevate your next gathering with this elegant and simple bubbly citrus cocktail. The combination of the sweet and spiced orange tea with the bright effervescence of Prosecco creates a refreshing, festive drink with a touch of warmth.
Ingredients:
4 Orange Spice Tea bags
4 cups boiling water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup Grand Marnier
1 bottle Prosecco or Champagne (chilled)
Instructions:
Brew the Tea:
In a heatproof pitcher or bowl, place the 4 Orange Spice Tea bags.
Pour 4 cups of boiling water over the tea bags and steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you want the flavor.
Remove the tea bags and stir in the 1/2 cup of sugar while the tea is still warm. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Allow the sweetened tea to cool to room temperature or place it in the refrigerator to chill faster.
Mix the Cocktail:
Once the tea has cooled, transfer to a pitcher or punch bowl and add 1/2 cup of Grand Marnier. Stir to combine
If serving in a large punch bowl, add the whole bottle of Prosecco or Champagne, gently pouring to avoid overflow and maintain the bubbles. If serving as an individual cocktail, transfer the tea mixture to a pitcher, pour into coupe glasses (filling 1/3 of the way), and gently pour in the prosecco or champagne to fill the glass.
Garnish (Optional):
Garnish with a slice of orange or a twist of orange peel for a pop of color and extra citrus aroma.
Serve and Enjoy:
Serve immediately while the bubbles are fresh!
